Sanhua industrial park, located in Saltillo Mexico, is the manufacturing hub for all Business Units in Mexico and has achieved significant growth over the past 10+ years. Collectively we have close to 3000 employees.
Sanhua Mexico Investment is a platform company and provides all services to other manufacturing BUs in Mexico, including but not limited to warehouse and logistics, accounting and finance, treasury, taxes, FX management and property management.
We are actively looking for a Tax Manager to manage the associated activities of the tax team at a manufacturing operation, establishing policies, practices and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the tax department of a multinational group or in international accounting practice.
- Advanced experience in local and international taxes.
- Advanced knowledge in tax accounting and solid accounting knowledge (MX GAAP and IFRS).
- Familiar with tax policy and tax practice on maquila/toll manufacturing entity.
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish listening, reading, writing and speaking.
GENERAL ACTIVITIES
- Lead tax team of Finance share center to serve 5+ local subsidiaries for VAT calculation, VAT refund, income tax filing, payroll tax calculation and filing and etc.
- Management and coordination of Audits, Litigations and Tax Projects.
- Ensure key controls and risk management processes are detailed and implemented, minimizing risk and exposure to sanctions.
- Work with the business unit to conduct internal reviews and risk assessments.
- Serve as liaison with advisors and tax authorities on matters related to tax planning in Mexico.
- Analyze and support legislative changes in the tax area in Mexico that impact the company's business.
