DESCRIPTION
We are actively looking for a HRBP Supervisor who acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives. This role oversees union management, Labor Relations and Benefits & Compensation teams to ensure compliance, enhance employee engagement, and support workforce development.
The position is instrumental in fostering collaborative relationships between management and union representatives while maintaining a productive workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology.
- Advanced English language level.
- At least 3 years managing administrative and operational personnel.
- At least 3 years of experience in:
- OD, Recruitment, Training, Talent Development, Compliance Management, Labor Relations.
- Experience with manufacturing/maquiladora companies.
ACTIVITIES
- HR Business Partnering
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand business needs and provide HR solutions.
- Drive talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Union Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and union representatives.
- Participate in collective bargaining negotiations to establish agreements that meet company goals while addressing employee concerns.
- Manage the administration and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Labor Relations
- Oversee labor relations team to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Address and resolve workplace disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct investigations related to employee misconduct or disputes in union and non-union settings.
- Benefits & Compensation
- Supervise the design and administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Collaborate with the BC team to maintain market-competitive salary structures.
- Monitor payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze compensation trends and recommend adjustments to attract and retain talent.
- Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor the Labor Relations and Benefits and Compensations team, fostering professional development.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations for subordinates.
- Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare and present HR metrics and analytics.
- Monitor key indicators such as turnover rates, grievances, and benefits utilization.
- Use data to identify trends and propose proactive HR strategies.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure HR practices align with company policies, collective bargaining agreements, and legal requirements.
- Conduct audits of labor and compensation practices to minimize risks.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and union-related regulations.
