DESCRIPTION
We are actively looking for a Finance Manager who will ensure that the company’s payroll processes comply with local labor laws and internal company policies, including minimum wage, overtime pay, and benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Advanced English language level
- 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience with shared service centers, multinational companies, or ERP implementation is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Shared Service Platform Finance Management:
- Platform Oversight: Manage financial operations for the Shared Service Platform, including reporting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Process Standardization: Lead efforts to establish and enhance financial processes, policies, and controls across the platform to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- System Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the effective integration of INFOR systems with OA, enabling seamless financial operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary finance liaison between the platform and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring the platform meets operational and strategic goals.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting, aligning with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, Mexican GAAP).
- Audit and Compliance: Manage internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Subsidiary Financial Leadership:
- Internal Controls:
- Supervise and inspect the internal control processes and asset security measures of all Mexican subsidiaries. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements by conducting regular audits, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate potential issues.
- Develop and maintain a robust internal control framework for all Mexican subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
- Mexico Cash Pool Management: Manage and improve centralized cash pool for Mexican subsidiaries to optimize liquidity and ensure efficient use of funds across the region.
- Foreign Exchange Management: Oversee the currency exchange processes for all subsidiaries, ensuring timely and compliant settlements to minimize foreign exchange risks.
- Daily Cash Flow Operations: Monitor and manage daily cash inflows and outflows, ensuring accurate recording, compliance with budgetary controls, and alignment with corporate cash flow policies.
- Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and optimization across subsidiaries.
- Manage banking relationships, intercompany transactions, and currency risk.

- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing finance team by providing coaching, mentorship, and training.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and legal, to support business objectives.
