QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree completed in Taxation, Tax Law, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced in English language.
  • Experience in corporate taxation, tax compliance, and tax planning.
  • Proven experience managing tax audits, tax authority requirements, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican tax legislation, corporate income tax, VAT, and tax compliance requirements.
ACTIVITIES
  • Develop and execute tax strategies that optimize the company’s tax position, enhance profitability, and ensure full compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and local tax obligations, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns, payments, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Analyze the tax impact of business transactions, investments, and operational activities, providing strategic recommendations to improve tax efficiency and minimize exposure to risk.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide tax guidance and ensure that business decisions are aligned with the company’s tax strategy and compliance requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks through the implementation of effective controls, policies, and procedures that support a strong tax governance framework.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with tax authorities, managing audits, inquiries, negotiations, and dispute resolution processes in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation, regulations, and industry practices, proactively assessing their impact on the organization and implementing appropriate actions to maintain compliance and optimize tax outcomes.
