DESCRIPTION
We are actively looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer who will ccoordinate and supervise the central production planning, ensuring the transformation of sales demand into effective operational plans for each plant. This role is vital for optimizing resources, adjusting the schedule based on machine capacity and layout, and maintaining smooth communication between sales, engineering, materials, and plant planners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering or related.
- Fluent in English Language.
- Advanced knowledge in Production Control.
- Experience in manufacturing/maquiladora industry.
- Experience with ERP systems, MRP and Excel.
ACTIVITIES
- Receive the sales requirement in the “1+3” model and analyze it based on installed capacity, machine layout, equipment, and tooling.
- Develop and adjust the master production plan for each plant, integrating information from sales, operational capacity, and existing constraints.
- Work closely with the Material Planner to prepare and manage the supply of critical materials.
- Review and verify the company’s capacity in collaboration with Engineering, considering equipment, tools, and any necessary changes or repairs.
- Meet periodically with planners from each plant to review and validate requirements and adjustments to the production plan of the current month, ensuring proper interpretation and execution.
- Monitor the evolution of demand and adjust the production plan accordingly. This includes modifying operator assignments (increasing or decreasing headcount) and creating the headcount plan for the next three months.
- Maintain continuous contact with the sales team, receiving weekly output reports and promptly communicating any deviations or requirements that could affect production.
- Prepare periodic reports reflecting the status of the master plan’s execution, facilitating decision-making and identifying opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency.
- Authorize and coordinate adjustments in the plan in response to unforeseen situations (lack of material, repairs, priority changes) to ensure continuity and optimization of production.
